"Shy One Horse Productions" came about thanks to a diverse group of likeminded individuals, who are all fans of the 1960's and 1970's genre of Spaghetti Westerns.  Mostly, the ones filmed in Southern Spain.

We originally got together thanks to the first of the 'Almeria Western Film Festivals' being cancelled very late in the day, after we had all booked hotels and flights for the event.

So, what could a group of dedicated movie buffs do for a week or so, in the hot desert of Southern Spain, armed with cameras and sound recording equipment, but make our own movie!

And so we did...  At very short notice, a script was put together and costumes finished off, and there, from a little acorn, did we grow.

Since then, we have made an annual pilgramage to Spain, with a view to shooting one or two short films as a friendly "family" group.  

 

Each person does tend to have more than one job in our cast/crew, due to us having a zero budget and diverse interests and skills!
